Review by Gillian Nelis of our Sunday Menu
The highlights :
Gillians 8 year old son who is a fickle eater of late, not only loved our French Onion Soup but asked for seconds.
“…chicken as it used to be and as it should be, full of flavour and served simply with vichy carrots, a lovely bread sauce, extremely buttery mash and a great jus..”
“..our other dessert poached rhubarb came with a particularly good crème fraîche parfait as well as a ginger crumb and raspberry sorbet…”
“Peploe’s has taken the decision to source the best Irish produce it can and has resisted the temptation to mess with it too much. The service is smooth and friendly, the room comfortable, and the vibe one of understated luxury. As a combination that’s pretty hard to beat.”
